Chocolate Sunday – Sunday, February 6

 

Want all-you-can eat chocolate?  Then you don’t want to miss Chocolate Sunday on Sunday, February 6 from 1pm-4pm at the East Valley Institute of Technology (1601 W. Main St., Mesa)!  Eat all the dessert you want from vendors such as the EVIT Culinary School, Cucina de vita Italian Deli, Gilbert Costco, Starbucks and more!  We will also be raffling off items from vendors such as Rigatony’s, Crackers & Co., Sun Devil Liquors, Milano Music, The Music Store and more!  There will also be live entertainment from members of Symphony of the Southwest!

Peter & the Wolf – Monday, February 7 and Tuesday, February 8

 

On Monday, February 7 and Tuesday, February 8, the Symphony of the Southwest will perform Sergei Prokofiev’s famous children’s piece “Peter & the Wolf” for over 3,000 east valley elementary school kids!  These concerts are also open to the public, and admission is free!  The symphony will perform this great work 6 times – on Monday, February 7 at 9:30am, 10:30am and 11:30am, and on Tuesday, February 8 at 9:30am, 10:30am and 11:30am.


All performances will be held in the Ikeda Theater at Mesa Arts Center.  Although these concerts are free, you must call us at 480-827-2143 or email us at symphonyofthesouthwest@gmail.com to reserve a spot at one of these shows.  Hope to see you there!
